Vic; Hazelwood hopes for speedy return to service
Hazelwood Power Station is hopeful of getting one of its two failed electricity units
repaired by later today.
Two generator units at the east Victorian plant broke down this week, adding to a supply
crisis which has resulted in compulsory power cuts across Victoria and South Australia.
Company spokesman NEIL LAWSON says the unit that broke down on Tuesday night is expected
to be back on line by later today.
