Pen: Aussie student makes late charge in pentathlon
In Australia, modern pentathlete ESZTER HORTOBAGYI doesn't get the funding or training
she got back in Hungary, but she wouldn't change a thing.
Modern pentathlon is big business in Hungary, and as a former world junior champion,
she spent her days in training camps, away from her family.
In Sydney, she has a much more balanced life and a different approach to competition,
which she brought to Athens.
HORTOBAGYI, 30, made a late surge in the final stages of the Olympic modern pentathlon
and finished 20th from a field of 32.
