INTERNET ACCESS FOR LOW VISION USERS AT DURANGO PUBLIC LIBRARY

DURANGO, Colo., June 16 -- The city of Durango issued the following news release:

The Durango Public Library is offering an open house to introduce the public to the new Low Vision Internet Access Computer on June 22nd, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Program Room 3. Users can spend time one-on-one with a staff person to become familiar with this service. The computer has a large screen which magnifies content for viewing and has the capability to read the text on the screen aloud to users with vision challenges. This service is available thanks to a grant from the Colorado State Library and The Institute for Museums and Libraries.
