Fifty-seven Section II high school football teams begin preseason practice today with one goal in mind; the Carrier Dome.
The regular season begins Friday, Sept. 7, and eventually one team from each of five classifications -- AA, A, B, C and D -- will go on to state play with the championships slated for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-2 in Syracuse.
``Going to the Dome has to be on everyone's mind,'' said Troy coach Jack Burger. ``And that's the way it should be. Right now, everyone's unbeaten and everyone has to think positive.''
